Chili rellenos casserole
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- can evaporated milk - 1 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
- Monterey Jack cheese, grated - 1 lb
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 lb
- can tomato sauce optional - 15 oz
- cans whole green chilies Ortega - 3 oz
How to make chili rellenos casserole:
Wash chilies, remove seeds, lay flat and pat dry. Mix together grated cheeses. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer 1/2 the chilies, cheese, chilies and cheese. Mix together eggs, flour and milk. Pour on top of chilies. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Pour on tomato sauce. Bake 15 minutes more. Cool 10 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Egg, Cheese, Main dish.
