- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- chili powder or to taste - 5 6
- can dark red kidney beans, drained - 1 oz
- can tomatoes, broken - 1 oz
How to make chili con carne:
Brown meat and onion. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Remove bay leaf and serve.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Chili.
