- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chili powder - 1 2
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- chopped green pepper - 3/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- tomatoes - 2 c
- dark red kidney beans, drained - 2 c
- bay leaf whole - 1 item
How to make chili:
In heavy skillet, cook meat, onion and green pepper until meat is lightly browned and vegetables are tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Remove bay leaf. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
