Chili
Ingredients/Components
- can Hanover chili beans - 1 item
- or 2 patties ground chuck depending on how much meat you want - 1 item
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- small can tomato sauce - 1 item
- red pepper - 1 item
- salt and fresh ground pepper to taste - 1 item
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- onion, diced - 1/3 item
How to make chili:
Brown meat and onion; drain grease. Add soup, sauce and beans. Rinse each can, leaving about 1/4 can of water in can. Add to mixture. Add pepper (red and black), salt and chili powder to mixture. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 1 hour.This is my own recipe. My husband likes it served over rice. It is also good served in a bowl with crackers. Serves 2 to 3.
