Ingredients/Components

  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • ginger - 1 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • soy sauce - 1/4 c
  • sherry optional - 1/4 c
  • chicken wings - 10 item
  • whole scallions, cut up small - 2 item
  • garlic salt or use fresh garlic - 1/4 tsp

How to make chicken wings:

Note: If you wish to 1 1/2 times the recipe, just add 5 more wings; if double amount all ingredients must be doubled.

Clean chicken wings; cut off and discard tip portion. Cut wing in half at joint. Mix everything (including wings) into large frying pan. Bring to simmer; cover and simmer 15 minutes. Remove cover and simmer for additional 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until liquid is all absorbed onto chicken wings. Serve hot or cold.
