Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- sherry optional - 1/4 c
- chicken wings - 10 item
- whole scallions, cut up small - 2 item
- garlic salt or use fresh garlic - 1/4 tsp
How to make chicken wings:
Note: If you wish to 1 1/2 times the recipe, just add 5 more wings; if double amount all ingredients must be doubled.Clean chicken wings; cut off and discard tip portion. Cut wing in half at joint. Mix everything (including wings) into large frying pan. Bring to simmer; cover and simmer 15 minutes. Remove cover and simmer for additional 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until liquid is all absorbed onto chicken wings. Serve hot or cold.
