How to make chinese chicken wings:
Fold tips of wings under to form a triangle. Melt butter in large skillet; add wings and onion. Cook for about 10 minutes or until wings are brown on both sides.Drain pineapple; reserve chunks. Measure syrup; add enough orange juice to measure 1 1/2 cups liquid. Blend in soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, ginger, salt, mace, Tabasco sauce and dry mustard. Pour over chicken. Cover; simmer for about 30 minutes or until tender, basting top pieces with liquid occasionally. Remove wings to hot platter
Add a small amount of cold water to cornstarch; blend slowly into liquid in skillet. Add pineapple chunks. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour over wings.
Comments: Serve with steamed rice. Can use uncooked, deboned chicken in place of chicken wings. In fact, this is how I prepare it.
