Chicken tortilla casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- cooked chicken - 3 c
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- cumin - 2 tsp
- large tortillas - 1 pkg
- small cans green chilies - 2 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese approximately - 3 c
How to make chicken tortilla casserole:
Grease a 9 x 13-inch casserole pan. Combine sour cream, green chilies, cumin and cream of chicken soup. Spread 1/3 of the sour cream mixture on bottom of the pan, then 1/3 of the tortillas. Spread another 1/4 of the sour cream mixture over the tortillas, then 1/2 the chicken. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the cheese. Repeat layers with the top layer being tortillas. Cover with the remaining cheese. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Casseroles.
