Chicken tikka
Ingredients/Components
- cream - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1/4 tsp
- yogurt - 1 c
- medium onion - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- garlic cloves - 2 item
- garam masala - 2 tsp
- a few drops red food coloring - 1 item
- 1-inch piece of ginger
- chicken, skinned and cut up or 4 chicken joints or breasts - 1 item
How to make chicken tikka:
Mince garlic, onion and ginger together. Mix yogurt and cream together, then add to minced onion mixture. Add remaining ingredients except the chicken. Cut each piece of chicken deeply like a tic-tac-toe game. Marinate with the mixture 7 to 8 hours or overnight. Grill. Serve with a salad.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Chicken breast.
