Barbecue chicken
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 3 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- ketchup - 1 c
- prepared mustard - 1/2 Tbsp
- medium onion - 1 item
- fat - 2 Tbsp
- salt to taste - 1 item
- chicken - 1 (3
- red pepper to taste - 1 item
How to make barbecue chicken:
Cut chicken into serving pieces and brown in hot fat. Brown onions in fat. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes. Pour mixture over chicken and bake, uncovered, in oven at 325° to 350° for 1 hour.Note: Sauce may be used for other meats.
