  • butter - 1/4 lb
  • chicken broth - 1 item
  • bread crumbs - 1 item
  • large onion, diced - 1 item
  • green pepper, diced - 1 item
  • celery - 1 c
  • American cheese, grated - 1/2 lb
  • box spaghetti - 1 item
  • hen, cooked - 1 (5
  • large can mushrooms - 1 item
  • mushroom liquid - 1 item
  • Old English cheese, grated - 1/2 lb
  • small or large can pimento - 1 item

How to make chicken tetrazzini:

Bone chicken and dice meat. Cook spaghetti; season with a small amount of broth. Add milk to remaining broth. Make 1 quart. Add butter and flour. Heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Saute onion, pepper, mushrooms and celery in mushroom liquid. Thoroughly blend all ingredients except crumbs in a buttered casserole; top with crumbs. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Yield: 15 servings.
