Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 4
  • water - 1/4 c
  • soy sauce - 1/2 c
  • white or sherry wine - 1/4 c
  • to 4 garlic cloves - 3 item
  • cut up fryer or 10 to 12 chicken thighs
  • ginger, powdered - 1/2 tsp

How to make chicken teriyaki:

Place chicken in baking dish. Combine ingredients for teriyaki sauce and pour over chicken. Marinate overnight. Bake approximately 1 hour in 325° oven, turning every 15 minutes. Serves approximately 6 people.

Note: Chicken may be skinned, if desired. May use 1/4 cup lemon juice for wine and no garlic.
