Ingredients/Components
- egg yolks - 2 item
- chicken broth - 6 c
- juice of 1 large lemon
- regular rice not instant, rinsed several times - 1/3 c
How to make chicken soup:
Bring broth to a boil. Add rice; cook 30 minutes or until rice is soft. Turn off heat. Beat egg yolks together with lemon juice, then add to it 1 cup of rice mixture and blend. Pour this back into pot of rice mixture. Makes 6 to 7 servings.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chicken, Whole chicken.
