  • boneless chicken breasts, marinated - 6 item
  • rice uncooked - 2 c
  • large button mushrooms - 8 item
  • large celery stalks - 4 item
  • julienne carrots - 1 c
  • broccoli - 1 c
  • cauliflower - 1 c
  • julienne Chinese cabbage optional - 1 c
  • butter 2 sticks - 1/2 lb
  • cooking sherry - 6 oz
  • oregano - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • large yellow onion - 1 item
  • lemon juice
  • olive oil - 1 c
  • lemon pepper - 1 Tbsp
  • dash of sage - 1 item

How to make chicken oregano:

For Marinating:1 c. lemon juice1 c. olive oil1 Tbsp. lemon pepper dash of sage Marinate meat overnight in refrigerator. Cook rice, then fry soy sauce, 1 finely chopped mushroom, 1/8 cup carrots, salt, pepper and oregano. Add to rice. Saute remaining vegetables in cooking sherry. Broil chicken. On round plate, make 1/2 bed of rice, 1/2 bed sauteed vegetables and place chicken on center top. Makes 6 servings.
