Chicken noodle casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- sliced celery - 1 c
- shredded cheese - 1 c
- diced green pepper optional - 1/4 c
- cooked chicken, chopped - 2 c
- medium noodles, cooked
How to make chicken noodle casserole:
Cook noodles until done; drain. In casserole dish, combine noodles, chicken, celery, peppers, mayonnaise and salt. Blend celery soup and milk; heat through. Add cheese; heat and stir until cheese is melted, then add to noodle mixture. Bake at 425° about 20 minutes. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
