Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • diced green pepper - 1/2 c
  • chopped onion - 1/3 c
  • mayonnaise - 1/2 c
  • can tuna - 1 1/2
  • can cream of celery soup - 1 item
  • sliced celery - 1 c
  • chopped pimientos - 1/4 c
  • shredded cheese - 1 c
  • 3 1/2 c - 6 oz

How to make tuna noodle casserole:

Cook noodles in boiling salt water until tender; drain. Combine noodles, drained tuna, mayonnaise, vegetables and salt. Blend soup and milk; heat through. Add cheese. Heat and stir until cheese is melted. Add to noodle mixture. Turn into 1 1/2-quart casserole; top with almonds. Bake in oven at 425° about 20 minutes. Serves 6.
