Tuna noodle casserole
Ingredients/Components
- 3 c - 6 oz
- can tuna, drained - 1 1/2
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- sliced celery - 1 c
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 item
- chopped pimiento - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- can cream of celery soup - 1 1/2
- milk - 1/2 c
- sharp processed American cheese, shredded 1 c - 4 oz
How to make tuna noodle casserole:
Cok noodles, using package directions; drain. Combine noodles, tuna, mayonnaise, celery, onion, pepper, pimiento and salt. Blend soup and milk; heat through. Add cheese. Heat and stir until cheese melts. Add to noodle mixture. Turn into a 2-quart casserole. If desired, top with 1/2 cup toasted, slivered almonds. Bake, uncovered, at 425° for 20 minutes.
