Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- honey - 1 item
- soy sauce - 1 c
- dry white wine - 1/2 c
- chopped green onion - 1 c
- chicken thighs, skin removed - 3 4
How to make chicken kona:
Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper to taste. Place in crock-pot. Combine the rest of the ingredients, except honey and pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, until chicken is brown and tender. Remove chicken from pot and arrange on broiler pan. Brush with honey. Broil until golden brown, brushing with honey several times. Makes 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
