Ingredients/Components
- water
- oil - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chopped green peppers - 1/4 c
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- to 10 pieces chicken, cut up - 8 item
- medium chopped fine onion - 1 item
How to make chicken jambalaya:
Brown chicken in oil. Add onions, celery and green pepper and saut until onions are transparent. Add rice, water, salt and pepper. Cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 1 hour. Add extra water as needed.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Turkey.
