Chicken chowder
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 2 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- carrots
- potatoes
- chopped parsley - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cubes - 2 item
- cubed cooked chicken
How to make chicken chowder:
Melt butter in 3-quart saucepan. Add onion; saute until tender. Add water, bouillon cubes, salt, pepper, potatoes and carrots. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add cooled cubed chicken and simmer 5 more minutes until vegetables are tender. Combine flour in 1/2 cup milk. Add to vegetables and chicken. Add remaining 2 cups milk.
