Chicken chili
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- cooking oil - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 2/3 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- can chicken broth - 1 oz
- can chili beans - 1 oz
- can chopped tomatoes with green chilies - 1 oz
How to make chicken chili:
Cook onion in oil until tender. Stir in chili powder and cook 1 minute more. Add broth, tomatoes and chili beans. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in chopped chicken and continue cooking until chicken is heated.Note: Two chicken breast halves, cooked, boned and chopped, may be substituted for frozen chicken.
