- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- water - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- chicken - 1 item
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- black pepper to taste - 1 item
- sweet milk - 1 c
How to make chicken and dumplings:
Put chicken, salted to taste, in water and boil until done. Debone chicken; make sure you have a lot of broth. Add soup, milk and black pepper to broth and chicken; boil.Dumplings: Mix flour and salt. (I taste the salt and flour to see if it is salted enough.) Add water to make a dough like a pie crust and roll out this and cut into strips and put in boiling broth. Cook on slow. It is better to have a lot of broth.
