Ingredients/Components

  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 1/2
  • ice water - 1/2 c
  • small can evaporated milk - 1 item
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • chicken bouillon cubes - 7 item
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • stick oleo - 1/2 item
  • large fryer, cut up - 1 item
  • all-purpose Gold Medal flour - 1 c
  • box Pillsbury pie crust mix - 1 item

How to make chicken and dumplings:

Dumplings: Make the day before. Blend pie crust mix and flour with water with pastry blender. Roll out very thin. Cut in pieces, about 1-inch wide and 2-inches long. Wrap in wax paper or Saran Wrap between layers. Cook chicken with bouillon cube
