Chicken and dressing casserole
Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- soup can milk - 1 item
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- chicken breasts - 3 item
- Pepperidge Farm cornbread dressing mix
How to make chicken and dressing casserole:
Boil chicken breasts until meat falls off the bone. Reserve 1 1/2 cups of broth. Layer breasts in 9 x 13-inch dish or pan. Combine chicken and celery soups and milk. Pour over chicken. Sprinkle dressing mix over the chicken mixture.Heat margarine and the 1 1/2 cups of broth. Carefully spoon over the stuffing mix. Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
This freezes well. Can be frozen before or after baking.
