Chicken and broccoli casserole
Ingredients/Components
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- curry powder - 1/2 tsp
- Ritz crackers - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1 c
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- cooking sherry - 1/4 c
- frozen or fresh chopped broccoli, cooked and cooled - 20 oz
- cooked meat from 1 chicken
- nuts, mushrooms and water chestnuts optional - 1 item
How to make chicken and broccoli casserole:
Butter a 2-quart casserole dish. Place broccoli in the casserole dish. Lay chicken meat over the broccoli. Mix the next 6 ingredients (and any optional ingredients) and pour over the chicken and broccoli. Top with crushed crackers and more grated sharp Cheddar cheese.
