Sweet and sour chicken wings
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 3 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 c
- water - 1/4 c
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- ketchup - 3 Tbsp
- seasoned salt - 1 tsp
- pineapple juice - 1/4 c
- chicken wings, disjoint and cut off tips - 2 lb
How to make sweet and sour chicken wings:
Sauce:3/4 c. sugar1/4 c. water3 Tbsp. ketchup1/2 tsp. salt2 Tbsp. soy sauce1/4 c. vinegar1/4 c. pineapple juice Disjoint wings and remove tips. Shake wings in cornstarch and seasonings. Dip in eggs and fry until golden. Drain on paper towels, then place in a baking pan.In a saucepan, heat sugar, water, ketchup, salt, soy sauce, vinegar and pineapple juice. Heat until sugar dissolves. Pour sauce over chicken. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Turn and bake 15 more minutes.
