Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- can cherry pie filling - 1 oz
- large or 3 small eggs - 2 item
How to make cherry cobbler:
Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter; gradually add sugar and cream until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture; beat well. Reserve 1/2 cup batter. Spread remaining batter in buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. Spread cherry pie filling over batter. Drop reserved batter by teaspoon over cherry filling.
