- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 3/4 tsp
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- oil - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- all-purpose flour - 3 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- orange juice - 1/4 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 4 item
- or 4 apples - 3 item
- In another bowl, sift flour and measure out 3 cups
How to make apple cake:
Peel and slice apples and combine with 3 tablespoons sugar. In another bowl, sift flour and measure out 3 cups. Add sugar, salt and powder. Stir in eggs, oil, juice and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add apples and cinnamon. Bake in 3 (9-inch) layer pans at 300° for 25 minutes. Cool and frost with cream cheese filling.Cream Cheese Filling:1 (4 oz.) cream cheese1 stick margarine1 box confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla Melt margarine. Add softened cream cheese and vanilla.
