Ingredients/Components

  • squash, chopped - 1 lb
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • butter - 3 Tbsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • grated cheese - 1 c
  • cracker crumbs - 1 c
  • salt and pepper - 1 item

How to make cheesy squash casserole:

Combine squash, onion and butter. Cook and drain and mash. Add remaining ingredients, reserving 1/2 cup cheese to sprinkle over top. Pour into buttered casserole dish. Bake at 375° until firm. Sprinkle cheese on top after casserole is done.
