Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 16 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
- bag hash brown potatoes, thawed - 32 oz
- bread crumbs or cornflakes - 1 item
How to make cheesy potato casserole:
Mix first 7 ingredients. Place in greased 13 x 9-inch casserole. Top with bread crumbs or cornflake crumbs. Drizzle butter over top. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. This dish freezes well.Recipe categories: Side dish, Cheese, Casseroles.
