  • cream cheese - 16 oz
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • melted butter - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 8 oz
  • bag hash brown potatoes, thawed - 32 oz
  • bread crumbs or cornflakes - 1 item

How to make cheesy potato casserole:

Mix first 7 ingredients. Place in greased 13 x 9-inch casserole. Top with bread crumbs or cornflake crumbs. Drizzle butter over top. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. This dish freezes well.
