Cheeseburger pie
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, well beaten - 3 item
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- shredded lettuce - 1 item
- chopped green pepper - 1/3 c
- chopped tomato - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- slices American cheese - 8 item
- tomato sauce - 1/2 c
- beef bouillon cube - 1 item
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item
How to make cheeseburger pie:
Preheat oven to 425°. Bake pie shell for 8 minutes; remove from oven. Reduce oven to 350°. In skillet, brown meat; pour off fat. Add tomato sauce, green pepper, onion and bouillon; cook until bouillon dissolves. Remove from heat and stir in eggs, flour and 6 cheese slices, broken. Pour into shell. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Arrange remaining cheese on top. Return to oven for 3 to 5 minutes. Garnish with tomatoes and lettuce.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Vegetables, Beef.
