Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- plain flour - 3 c
- red pepper - 1/8 tsp
- extra sharp cheese - 1 lb
- sticks butter margarine - 2 item
How to make cheese straws:
Note: May use medium or sharp cheese if wish.Grate cheese and let cheese and butter get to room temperature. Mix all ingredients well. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375° for 10 to 15 minutes. Do not overcook. May use mixture to make cookies instead of straws. Flatten walnut size ball into cookie and bake.
