Ingredients/Components
- grated sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
- all-purpose sifted flour - 2 c
- stick oleo or margarine or butter - 1 item
How to make cheese straws:
Mix butter and cheese. Add flour gradually. When well mixed, add red pepper. Fill cookie press, using star disk. Form straws on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes. Yield: About 3 dozen.Note: Add salt to taste after baking.
