Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- green onions, chopped - 1/2 c
- shredded Monterey Jack or sharp Cheddar cheese
- green jalapenos, minced - 1/2 c
How to make nachos:
Preheat oven to 400°. Place tortilla chips in a single layer on 2 baking sheets. Sprinkle with jalapenos and green onions. Cover with shredded cheese. Bake until cheese melts (about 5 minutes). Serve warm from oven. Serves 8 as an appetizer or 4 as a light lunch.You can buy prepared salsa for these fajitas in the Mexican section of your supermarket or you can make your own. Fajitas can be messy if you eat them with your hands, so you may want to use a knife and fork.
