- half and half - 1 pt
- milk - 1 pt
- grated Cheddar cheese
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- cans cream of potato soup - 3 item
- grated American cheese
- wild rice - 1/2 c
- to 12 slices bacon - 10 item
How to make cheese soup:
Brown bacon with onion. Drain grease and dice up bacon. Cook and drain wild rice. Put all ingredients in a 5-quart casserole dish and simmer slowly until cheese melts and soup thickens.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Cheese, Soups & stews.
