Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • boiling water
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • chopped celery - 1/2 c
  • parsley flakes - 1 tsp
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • chicken bouillon cube - 1 item
  • diced potatoes - 3 c
  • Velveeta process cheese, cubed - 1/2 lb

How to make cheese soup:

Add water to potatoes, celery, onion, parsley flakes, seasonings and bouillon cube. Cover; cook until tender. Blend flour with a small amount of milk; stir into vegetable mixture. Add remaining milk; cook until thickened. Add Velveeta; stir until melted. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
