Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- boiling water
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cube - 1 item
- diced potatoes - 3 c
- Velveeta process cheese, cubed - 1/2 lb
How to make cheese soup:
Add water to potatoes, celery, onion, parsley flakes, seasonings and bouillon cube. Cover; cook until tender. Blend flour with a small amount of milk; stir into vegetable mixture. Add remaining milk; cook until thickened. Add Velveeta; stir until melted. Makes 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Cheese, Soups & stews.
