Cheese potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- water - 5 c
- Velveeta cheese - 1 lb
- onion, chopped - 1 c
- chicken bouillon cubes - 4 item
- celery, chopped - 1 c
- cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
- carrots, chopped - 1 c
- potatoes, chopped - 5 c
- crumbled bacon - 1 item
How to make cheese potato soup:
Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Add carrots, celery and onion. Cook 20 minutes. Add potatoes and cook 20 minutes more. Check vegetables to see if they are done. Add soup and mix well. Add cheese (in pieces). Cook until cheese is melted. Serve with crumbled bacon on top. Serves 8.Recipe categories: Cheese, Soups & stews, Main dish.
