  • eggs - 5 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • lemon flavoring - 1 tsp

How to make pound cake:

Mix Crisco, sugar and eggs. Add flour, baking powder and salt, sifted. Add milk and flavorings. Pour into a tube pan and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350°. Spray cake pan with Pam.
