Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- half and half - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- dry grits - 1 c
- Velveeta + 1 tsp - 1 garlic
- cornflake or bread crumb topping - 1 item
How to make cheese grits:
Prepare grits as on package. Add butter and cheese to hot grits. Crack 2 eggs into measuring cup. Fill with half and half to make 1 cup. Beat mixture. Combine with grits. Pour into greased casserole. Cover with crushed cereal or bread crumbs tossed with melted butter. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Low cholesterol, Low fat.
