Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt
- flour - 1/4 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- sliced carrots - 1/2 c
- can cream-style corn - 1 item
- diced potatoes - 2 c
- or less sharp Cheddar cheese - 10 oz
How to make cheese chowder:
In a saucepan, combine vegetables. Add 2 cups water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes. Do not drain. In a separate pan, make sauce of the margarine, flour and milk.
