Ingredients/Components
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 pkg
- frozen broccoli
- slivered almonds - 1 pkg
- to 6 boneless chicken breasts - 4 item
- beer any kind - 1/2 c
How to make cheddar chicken:
Thaw broccoli. Lightly brown chicken breasts in butter; set aside. Put frozen broccoli into a baking dish (rectangular or round). Arrange chicken breasts in with the broccoli; set aside. Heat a skillet, then put in grated Cheddar cheese; pour 1/2 cup beer over the cheese in the skillet, stir constantly. Pour the cheese/beer sauce over the broccoli/chicken. Sprinkle with slivered almonds. Cover with foil. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes or microwave (cover with Saran Wrap) 20 minutes on Medium-high.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Chicken breast.
