Cheddar cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 1 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- 8 oz - 2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- finely chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- finely chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- cans condensed chicken broth - 2 3/4
- finely chopped carrot - 1/4 c
How to make cheddar cheese soup:
Cook onion, pepper and carrots in margarine in a 3-quart saucepan for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in flour and mix well. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add broth and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Gradually stir in cheese. Cook over medium heat, stirring until cheese has melted. Add milk.
