  • salt - 5 Tbsp
  • pepper - 2 Tbsp
  • potatoes - 8 lb
  • Tabasco sauce - 1 item
  • cans tomato paste - 4 item
  • onions - 5 lb
  • large cans tomato sauce - 3 item
  • fatback or bacon - 4 lb
  • fileted catfish - 8 lb

How to make catfish stew:

Cook the fish until the meat flakes. Fry the fatback and use the drippings to saute the onions. In a large pot, combine fish, potatoes, onions, tomato sauce, paste, salt and pepper. Cook until potatoes are well done. Add Tabasco sauce to taste.
