- salt - 5 Tbsp
- pepper - 2 Tbsp
- potatoes - 8 lb
- Tabasco sauce - 1 item
- cans tomato paste - 4 item
- onions - 5 lb
- large cans tomato sauce - 3 item
- fatback or bacon - 4 lb
- fileted catfish - 8 lb
How to make catfish stew:
Cook the fish until the meat flakes. Fry the fatback and use the drippings to saute the onions. In a large pot, combine fish, potatoes, onions, tomato sauce, paste, salt and pepper. Cook until potatoes are well done. Add Tabasco sauce to taste.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Low Carb, Stew.
