Ingredients/Components

  • small can Carnation milk - 1 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • large potatoes, cut up - 3 item
  • 1/2 sticks margarine - 1 item
  • large onions, cut up - 2 item
  • catfish - 3 lb
  • large cans milk - 2 item
  • small amount water - 1 item
  • creamy corn

How to make catfish stew:

Cook catfish in boiler; remove bones. Cook potatoes and onions until they are mush. Add fish and small can of milk to boiler; let cook until all is done. Add large cans of milk, water, margarine, corn, salt and pepper. Stir over low heat until it comes to a boil; set off. Stir good, or it will stick. Makes 2 gallons.
