- milk - 1 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cold water - 2 qt
- bay leaf - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- sliced onion - 1 item
- pinch of thyme - 1 item
- catfish, cut up - 2 3
- little parsley - 1 item
- chopped stalk celery - 1 item
How to make catfish soup:
Put all ingredients, except the milk and butter, in a kettle or stewpan. Cook over low heat until the meat falls apart. Add milk and butter. Bring to a boil. Serve hot.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Catfish, Freshwater fish.
