Microwave potato soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 3 c
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1 item
- bay leaf - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
- diced potatoes - 4 c
- sprig thyme - 1 item
How to make microwave potato soup:
Put potatoes, onions and butter in a large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and pierce several times. Cook for 10 minutes on High. Add milk, water, thyme, bay leaf, seasoning and nutmeg and cook for 7 minutes on High. Leave standing, covered, for 1 minute. Uncover and cool slightly.Remove bay leaf and thyme. Pour soup in food processor and puree until smooth. If too thick, add milk. Cover and heat for 3 minutes on High. Garnish with grated cheese.
