Ingredients/Components
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- honey - 3 Tbsp
- ground ginger - 1/4 tsp
- golden raisins - 1/4 c
- carrots, thinly sliced - 1 lb
- sliced, unpeeled almonds - 1/4 c
- 1/2 stick Imperial spread sticks - 1/4 c
How to make carrots royale:
Preheat oven to 375°. Cook carrots, covered in 1/2-inch boiling water, for 8 minutes. Drain. Turn carrots into a 1-quart baking dish. Stir in raisins, Imperial, honey, lemon juice and ginger. Bake, uncovered, for 35 minutes, stirring occasionally. Spoon into serving bowl. Sprinkle with almonds. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Carrots.
