Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- half and half - 3/4 c
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 4 c
- sliced carrots - 6 item
- onion - 1 item
- cooked rice - 1/4 c
How to make carrot soup:
Cook the carrots and onion together in boiling water until tender; drain. Puree in blender; empty into pot with broth, butter, sugar and rice. Bring to boil, then lower heat and simmer 15 minutes.
