Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • vinegar - 1/4 c
  • salad oil - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • stalks celery, sliced - 2 item
  • green peppers, cut in strips - 2 item
  • sliced cooked carrots - 2 lb
  • medium sliced onions - 2 item
  • Sauce:1 can tomato soup

How to make carrot salad:

Sauce:1 can tomato soup3/4 c. sugar1/4 c. vinegar1/2 c. salad oil1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce1/4 tsp. pepper1/2 tsp. salt Cook carrots until tender. Combine ingredients for sauce and bring to boil. Add remaining vegetables to carrots. Pour sauce over vegetables. Cool and chill thoroughly.
