Carrot salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- salad oil - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- stalks celery, sliced - 2 item
- green peppers, cut in strips - 2 item
- sliced cooked carrots - 2 lb
- medium sliced onions - 2 item
- Sauce:1 can tomato soup
How to make carrot salad:
Sauce:1 can tomato soup3/4 c. sugar1/4 c. vinegar1/2 c. salad oil1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce1/4 tsp. pepper1/2 tsp. salt Cook carrots until tender. Combine ingredients for sauce and bring to boil. Add remaining vegetables to carrots. Pour sauce over vegetables. Cool and chill thoroughly.In memory of Goldie Huber.
