  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 c

  • grated carrots - 2 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
  • small can crushed pineapple, drained reserve juice - 1 item
  • Add the sugar, oil and eggs; mix well

How to make carrot cake:

Mix together the first 5 ingredients. Add the sugar, oil and eggs; mix well. Stir in the carrots, pineapple and walnuts. Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.Cream Cheese Frosting:1/2 c. butter1 (8 oz.) pkg. so
