Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- oil
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- grated carrots - 3 c
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- shredded coconut - 1 c
- corn syrup - 1 Tbsp
- black walnuts - 1 c
- flour self-rising - 2 c
- caps black walnut flavoring - 2 item
How to make carrot cake:
Glaze:1 c. sugar1/2 c. buttermilk1 Tbsp. corn syrup1/2 tsp. soda Mix dry ingredients. Add oil and eggs. Mix well. Add carrots, coconut, nuts and flavoring. Bake 1 hour at 350°.Glaze: Mix all ingredients, except the soda. Bring to boil. Add soda. Pour over cake while hot.
